Dual Enrollment Parent Meeting for 26.27 School Year
Good afternoon, families.
As we gear up for the 26.27 school year, I'd like to invite our current 9th grade families who have interest in dual enrollment for the first time, as well as any other family seriously considering dual enrollment, to attend this night. I will be reviewing the process for dual enrollment and all that goes into it to be success. This event will take place the Monday after Spring Break - on Monday, March 30, 2026 @ 5:30pm Central. Location is TBD, but I will keep everyone informed of the location.
IMPORTANT: If your student is looking to complete any part of the course selection sheet with dual enrollment, that is fine. All the decisions surrounding dual enrollment do NOT have to be made prior to returning the course selection sheet. So please do not feel the pressure to have all of the answers filled out before submitting that course selection sheet. Course selection sheets are due back tomorrow. Right now, I have only 28 of current 9th graders, 9 of current 10th graders, and only 15 of current 11th graders.
At this time, I have not been given any directives toward Lee County Schools providing any funding toward dual enrollment courses for students, and that includes courses offered on our campus that are dual.
I hope to see you on Monday, March 30! Thank you for your partnership!
Sincerely,
Adam Keel
NOTE: If you want to go ahead and apply to SUSCC, you are free to do so because for them, an A-number is critical for all other documents and submissions. The other main partner that have is Troy.
